Snow is on the ground, the nights are still long, and it's coooold! These are the perfect days for some introspection. Time to embrace the natural tendency to curl up and soak in the quiet. Winter is one of my favorite times of the year to loose power (for about two hours anyway), the difference in the true quiet from the electronic noise that surrounds us consistently is delightful. This year I'm trying to embrace the small moments of quiet whenever and however they come. Finding time to read this is helping, along with practicing mindfulness in everything I do, to the best of my ability. What sort of daily spiritual practice to you do? How has it helped you? I would love to hear about your experiences.
