Parking Lot Project
You can’t have missed the beautified parking lots! The purchase of supplies and the labor were performed by Steve Slater, Gabe and Jack Rockafellow! They used forty-two, five-gallon cans of Seal Blast! Steve worked thirty-eight hours (yes, 38) on this volunteer project! Gabe and Jack labored faithfully alongside him. This was heavy and dirty work. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts!
Three years ago, Yeager Asphalt submitted a bid of $4,000 for this work. Steve spent $2,000. We saved money – always a good thing!

Search Committee Update - 11.27.17
The Congregational Survey is completed and results are being examined and prepared for discussion with the congregation. There will be opportunities to meet and review the results during coffee hour and in regional meeting locations. Dates and more details coming soon. IF you would like to host a discussion, have a great idea for a location to hold a discussion, or have other questions, please contact Pam Folts who is organizing this next step.
The Congregational Record, a snapshot of our congregation and expectations for a new minister, is completed and being reviewed by our regional consultant, Rev. Lynn Kerr. The Search Committee continues to work on preparation of the digital packet, that will provide potential candidates a more in-depth overview of the greater Flint community, and the congregation.
If you have questions or suggestions for the committee, please contact Zoe Starkweather, chair, Search Committee.
Take a look at the two indoor planters! (One planter is located beside the stairs to Nelson Hall.
The other planter is located in Nelson Hall beside the path to the restrooms.) Rayna Bick
thought about this, purchased and planted new plants in both planters. Beautiful, eh?
Thanks you, Rayna.
