Social Justice and Outreach continues to encourage collaboration with our 2nd Sunday supported agencies. Motherly Intercession CEO and Founder Shirley Cochran forcefully presented the need for special support to the innocent children and caregivers left behind when a parent is sent to jail. UUCF collection for Motherly Intercession totaled $1119.25. THANK YOU! Want to help more consider attending the Annual Fund Raising Dinner, Nov. 11, 2017. See John Straw or google the website for details. Lasts year the meal and program was topnotch. This year our own John Straw (board member and volunteer) will be honored for his tireless efforts.
The Second Sunday collection for November will be YWCA of Flint and Genesee County.
