Wow October was a full month at UUCF!
Thanks for being with us for the excitement. We sent students to a UU middle school retreat, had a Halloween party, celebrated our ancestors, ate pancakes, and held a worship service in the middle of the week.
November 19th at 12pm Parents As Spiritual Guides. ‘Unitarian Universalists have many definitions and interpretations of the word spiritual. We urge you to honor yours, and in the company of seekers, to enrich and enhance your own spiritual growth.’ Even if you have taken this class previously please join us to review it and bring your new stage of development to the table. Creating a home with Unitarian Universalist values takes a lot of work but you are not in this alone. Faith Development Committee will provide lunch for your family for the first meeting.
Also November 19th in celebration of Thanksgiving coming up the Faith
Development and Worship Committee would like to invite you to bring in a sweet treat to share during coffee hour. Many of us have a favorite holiday treat like Great Aunt Jo's favorite cookies and this is the day to share that story with someone after our 'Friends-giving' service.
November 21st Night Service 7pm NEW TIME! Join us for a service based in story and song with the theme of ‘Abundance’. Please join us for this non-traditional service for a midweek pick-me-up.
Navigator Scouts starting at UUCF: Navigator USA is an all gender, secular scouting movement that welcomes all people. Next month we will be getting ready for the Christmas Pageant with the
students. The pageant will be on Dec. 17th. During this service we will have a special collection that will allow us to purchase small denomination gift cards for those that use our food pantry. We hope that our students will help us spread the word about this and maybe help by taking back some cans and bottles and sharing the money at this collection.
